Commercial Dee Shackles

These shackles are specifically used in the Lifting Industry. In addition screw pin shackles can be used in applications involving side-loading applications. You must reduce the WLL for side-loading applications. It is important not to allow pin to rotate during a lift, during a choke mode for example. These shackles are heat treated and tempered using high quality fine-grade alloy steel to comply with Australian Standards AS2741-2002. These shackles have a Safety Factor of 6 times the WLL (6:1).The body and pin has a Brinell Hardness of not more than 300, equivalent to Rockwell 32RC. Complience Certification can be supplied on request. Sizes available from 5mm and up to 102mm x 150Tonne. Grade M Shackles

M Grade shackles can be supplied in a natural black or hot dip galvanised treated finish (AS4380), and manufactured using high tensile steel. They are rated shackles for their WLL and fully comply with Australian Standards AS2741/BS3032 as a lifting shackle. Applications are;- these shackles are used where a larger than normal shackle needs to be used , for example on a larg lifting hook or bollard. Sizes available from 6mm x 1/4 Tonne to 51mm x 16 Tonne. Complience certification can be supplied on request.

Grade S Bow Shackles

Bolt-type can be used in any application where a round pin is required. and can be used where a screw pin shackles are used. In addition they are recommended for perminate or long term installations and where the load may slide on the shackle pin causing the pin to rotate. We have Third Party Certified proof that the range has been tested according to Australian Standards AS2741 on an approved NATA testing facilityand can be supplied with complience certificates if requested.
